The Inland Tree Conference is a two-day educational event that brings forward-thinking arborists and forest landowners to showcase innovative, technical solutions for land stewardship and sustainable forest management. The 2023 conference is set for Thursday, January 5th, and Friday, January 6th at CenterPlace in Spokane Valley, WA.

Our 2023 keynote speaker will be Dr. John Ball from South Dakota State University (SDSU). John supports the citizens of South Dakota in his role as a Professor, SDSU Extension Forestry Specialist & South Dakota Department of Agriculture Forest Health Specialist. He has prepared several presentations for the conference including:

• The Three Sisters: Coming threats to the Pacific Northwest.
• Tree Worker’s Safety: in the Forest or the Urban Forest.
• Cordless Electric Chainsaws Operation and Maintenance.
• Arborist and Loggers First Aid

During the two-days attendees will participate in general sessions as well as choose from several break out sessions based on their area of focus.
