Conservation Tillage Cost-Share Program

We are currently offering a limited enrollment (up to 5 eligible producers) to participate in a three-year commitment to conservation tillage. This commitment may include any number of rotations of production crop, pasture seeding, or cover crop as appropriate for the site. The cost-share will not exceed $28/acre for a maximum cap of 250 acres, ($7,000 per year). Payment will be made after seeding each year for a three-year conservation tillage rotation.

Conservation-Based Tillage System Equipment Purchase (Loan Program)

Our Conservation-Tillage Loan Program makes it easy for you to convert to direct seed or conservation-tillage operations as we are offering low-interest (3.5%) loans to Hangman Creek Watershed producers for major agricultural purchases that:

• Aid in the direct placement of seed and/or fertilizers in one or two passes
• Aid in the removal or management of residue
