We invite our urban and rural neighbors to explore various ways to create sustainable, productive landscapes. These classes will feature valuable tips for topics including landscaping with native plants, tree care, permaculture, pest management, composting, managing non-native plants, attracting pollinators, and more! Training provided by local experts.
4 Mondays in March!
Dates include Monday, March 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th.
Time: 5:00 – 7:30 pm
Fee: $45 registration fee is required (includes all 4 classes) Participants will receive educational materials, access to local experts, and prize drawings every evening.

Participants will gather in person for this hands-on workshop to learn how to turn a used, food-grade barrel into a rain barrel, why it is important to capture rainwater, and how to maintain your barrel. Attendees will retrofit their barrel and take it home from the workshop.
Pre-registration is required and participants must drive a suitable vehicle in order to take home their 55-gallon rain barrel.

Only 1 Rain Barrel per Household; must attend class to receive materials. Couples in the same household can attend together, but only pay one registration fee as they will only be receiving one barrel. There are four different class opportunities to register for.
