Septic Connection Checklist

1.  Complete assistance application with required income documentation
2.  Obtain three (3) contractor bids and submit to SCD with application
3.  Develop contract with SCD
4.  Hire and complete new contract with approved contractor for services
5.  Provide SCD letter of credit to selected contractor
6.  Pre-project site visit by contractor/SCD
7.  Obtain required permits through Spokane County Utilities Dept
8.  Project implementation – connection and abandonment
9.  Project inspection/approval by Spokane County Utilities Staff
10. Landscape restoration to original condition
11. Project completion/verification by SCD
12. Final project payment from SCD to contractor
13. SCD loan repayment schedule payments (if required)
